Beloved Taiwan
This is just a little blog,
written by an American teenager,
about that island they call Taiwan.
I’m not an expert on Formosa.
I don’t claim Taiwanese omniscience.
I just went there when I was thirteen,
now I love that place,
and my teacher said, “Write a blog.”
